On Tuesday August 18, the bridge in Downtown Mystic, CT stopped operating due to a malfunction. Kalmar Nyckel, the tall ship of Delaware (a replica of 1638 Swedish merchant ship) was on her way to Mystic Seaport when she got stranded at the Mystic River Park dock. It was amazing to see all people that came out to see her up close. The details on Kalmar Nyckel is stunning! I’ve always loved seeing her every time.

Kalmar Nyckel ended up spending overnight at the dock. I went for my sunrise walk in Downtown Mystic on Wednesday August 19th and it was foggy out. It added the moody vibes to all the photos!
