Hoppy Easter and Happy Passover!

Hoping that everyone had a nice celebration or enjoyed the day. Easter always stir up some childhood memories so it was tough to be long distance from my family. While I missed them terribly, I still had a nice day with my little family. We headed out to Stonington, CT to get some photos with the newly blooming tulips on the green.
We went to the beach first, and had it all to ourselves! The pup sure ran like someone left the gate open. She loves the beach. After she got her exercise, we took her to Stonington Lighthouse for some egg hunting. Inside the eggs were her favorite treats from Pup Stop shop (located in Stonington borough).

The town green near the library saw some tulips starting to bloom. I love seeing all the flowers coming to life! We finished the rest of egg hunting for our pup on the very spacious green. She enjoys that tradition! It’s so fun to watch her.

The rest of day was laid back and relaxing at our home. My husband surprised me with a chocolate Easter bunny basket! I was reminiscing on how I haven’t had one in years. Little things like that with reminders of fond childhood memories made me smile! We cooked a meal and celebrated a Passover seder a few days late.
